DAN THORPE
PRESIDENT, RELATE GROUP
Dan Thorpe has spent more than two decades at the intersection of nonprofit fundraising, strategy, and organizational growth. His career includes senior leadership roles at American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and HelpMeSee, where he built and led donor acquisition programs, fundraising campaigns, and development operations at national and regional scale.
As President of Relate Group, Dan leads the firm's client engagements, growth strategy, and the expanding portfolio of productized consulting services the firm brings to the sector. His focus is the places where fundraising strategy, data, and modern tools converge: building development operations that run well, donor acquisition systems that scale, and organizations that are positioned to grow their revenue year over year.
Dan holds an MS in Educational Leadership. He is known for turning strategy into execution — not plans that sit on a shelf, but programs that produce results a board can see.
